Ginger root is indigenous to the Hawaiian islands and is traditionally called 'Awapuhi.

Our roots are sourced from the North Shore of Kaua'i. They grow underground for nearly a year before they're ready to be harvested. The rich volcanic soil, abundant rainfall, and tropical sun create ideal growing conditions.
